Zampogna Inc., serving the Tri-State area
since 1941, was founded by Adolph Zampogna. In 1971 the company was
incorporated, and has since been headed by Adoph’s son, Sonny. Zampogna
Carts, Inc., was spun off in 1993, and has grown quickly into one of
the largest providers of shopping cart services in the United States.
The following is a brief summary of our businesses:
Zampogna Inc. employs electricians, fitters,
combination welders, and mechanics. We have full service shop design and
fabrication capabilities. Zampogna Inc. works with many equipment
manufacturers to provide services to the grocery and retail industries,
and many industrial accounts.
We will typically sell, install, and then service
various types of equipment, including balers, compactors, dock equipment,
and pallet trucks. Some of our customers include Giant Eagle Markets,
Supervalu, Wal-Mart, Federal Express, Target, Kaufmanns, and Dicks
Sporting Goods. The Zampogna Inc. primary service area is within 150 miles
of Pittsburgh, PA.
Zampogna Carts, Inc. is involved in all facets
of the shopping cart industry. New carts, reconditioned carts, rental
carts, handicapped carts, baby seats, and all related products. We sell
it, we service it!
What is important for you to know is what it is that
separates Zampogna Carts from other service companies:
-
The Zampogna fleet of trucks includes a 48’
flatbed, 24’ flatbed, and 2 tractor trailers with 48’ and 53’ boxes.
-
All of our box trucks are fully equipped
specifically to perform cart maintenance. We utilize only 15’ box
trucks in order that we may carry not only shopping cart parts, but also
just about every wheel and caster typically found in a store.
In March, 2000, Zampogna Carts, Inc. opened up a
warehouse and full service facility in the Cleveland, Ohio area, expanding
our service area to 12 states.
